Midst is a boutique furniture studio by Westin Millard, grounded in the balance of opposites. His pieces nod to the simplicity and functionality of Japanese woodworking with a contemporary ethos. I designed the logotype and website. Drawing from Japanese hanko seals, the identity centers on a mark meant to be physically branded into each piece — a literal and symbolic gesture connecting maker, material, and mark.
