Launched in 2008 under the Ernie Ball Music Man family brand, Sterling by Music Man offers accessible guitars and basses to musicians of all levels. Our team creates campaigns for the signature instruments of legendary artists like Pete Wentz, Joe Dart, and St. Vincent.

In May of 2024, we partnered with the visionary artists Joe Dart and Jack Stratton of Vulfpeck to produce a limited edition run of their dream bass. 

We developed a global ecommerce strategy to open a pre-order for this bass for 31 days. The final sold count was 4,722 basses.
